CROSSWORX CYCLES
Founded in 2019, CrossworxCycles emerged from a passion for mountain biking and a desire to create high-performance bikes. The journey began when Kevin Dewinski (Kiwi) and Chris Reichling met at the Technical University of Ilmenau, bonding over daily rides. With Chris’ experience in mechanical engineering and bike design, and Kiwi’s racing background, they were inspired to start their own German-based production, aiming to realise their vision of the perfect bike.
Starting in a small cellar workshop, they crafted their first frames and rigorously tested them across European trails, receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback. This led to the public release of the Dash model and a rebranding to CrossworxCycles in December 2019. Their initial production facility, a modest 36-square-metre garage, allowed them to become self-sufficient in frame production, but soon proved too small as demand grew.
By mid-2021, CrossworxCycles expanded to a 160-square-metre facility with dedicated areas for production, assembly, and warehousing. The team, united by a shared enthusiasm for cycling, has grown steadily. With technical mountain bike trails nearby, the location offers ideal conditions for ongoing development and customer test rides, ensuring continuous innovation and satisfaction.
